Director - Founder

Ronald W. Bird is the Director and Founder of TouchStone Strategies.  My goal is to provide a professional level of service to help Entrepreneurs realize the wealth and value they have built in their business by assisting them with a strategic event.    

My 59 years of professional experience includes 26 years in the banking industry, mostly with two Wall St. banks, 10+ years in the manufacturing industry plus several years in the valuation industry during the height of numerous bank acquisitions.  Valuation assignments aggregated to more than $1.0 billion in allocated asset values based on the total purchase price.  ​

​Business Strategist to the Entrepreneur

My early career involved senior level accounting and finance positions in manufacturing spanning a 10-year period, followed by almost 26 years in banking.  Twenty years ago I launched my own Entrepreneurial endeavor as a general business advisor. 


I earned both an MBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting at Fairleigh Dickinson University, attending night school  capitalizing on the VA benefits earned serving in the U.S. Navy.

Accreditations include: Accredited Merger & Acquisition Advisor by The Association of Professional Merger & Acquisition Advisors with involvement in various transactions on the both the sell side and buy side.   

As an accredited business advisor, re: The Institute for Independent Business (IIB), I have access to senior level business professionals across the US.  As a generalist, there is no limit to the type of assignments I can be engaged due to the broad spectrum of specialists with whom I am affiliated.  Whatever the issue, there are resources available to me to assist any client.
